How to calculate aggregate percentage in UPTU?

As per UPTU Marksheets of 2015 passout batches:

For 1st year 25% marks of the total,

For 2nd year 50% of the total, 

For 3rd year 75% of the total and 

For final year 100% marks is considered,

1.For Regular Students

2.For Lateral Entry Students

You can check the ordinance reading the ordinance.

EXAMPLE:

Example:

Marks in 1st year :

1st sem + 2nd sem = 721+617 = 1338

25% of 1338=334.5

25%of 2000(Total)=500

Marks in 2nd year:

3rd sem + 4th sem= 789+762=1551

50% of 1551= 775.5

50% of 2000(total)=1000

Marks in 3rd Year:

5th sem + 6th sem =725+653=1378

75% of 1378=1033.75

75% of 2000(total)=1500

Marks in 4th Year:

7th sem + 8th sem= 785+805=1590

Total=2000

Now Add All The Marks

334.5+775.5+1033.6+1590=3733.6

Add the total maximum marks:

500+1000+1500+2000=5000

Now Make It In Percentage

Divide 3373.6 by 5000 and multiply by 100=74.672 (Your Aggregate percentage)
